By using PiscisNow you accept these terms.
Scope of the service
PiscisNow is a logging and decision-support app for recreational angling. It lets you record fishing sessions, catches, gear and environmental conditions, and produces probabilistic suggestions based on your own history.
The app does not guarantee catches, does not show the exact location of fish, and does not promise certain outcomes.
Account
- Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address.
- Do not share your account with others.
- You may not use the service if you are under 13.
User content and zero tolerance
You are responsible for the content you share. We apply zero tolerance to:
- Harassment, hate speech, threats
- Content encouraging illegal fishing
- Disclosing locations of protected species
- Spam and fraud
Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Violating content is removed and accounts may be suspended.
Subscription and fair use
Paid features are offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by the App Store / Google Play; cancellation and refund rules follow the relevant store's terms.
When a subscription is cancelled, access continues until the end of the paid period.
The lifetime purchase grants permanent access to the guides, calculators, logbook features and the current analysis engine. Features that create ongoing third-party cost (live weather/marine queries, photo-based species identification) are subject to a reasonable fair use limit, shown in the app.
Limitation of liability
Regulation, weather, marine and fishing suggestions in the app are informational. PiscisNow is not liable for decisions you make based on them. See the regulation and safety disclaimer pages for details.
Changes
These terms may be updated. For material changes you will be asked to accept them again in the app.
