LURES

The teeth are large and sharp: put about 30 cm of steel wire or wire-type trace ahead of the hook, whether trolling, casting or fly fishing. It responds strongly to chum, so chum first to hold fish in an area, then cast or troll. A bonito-style trolling rig with live, dead or cut bait works; for lures use bright squid imitations, and for fly 8–10 cm silver sardine patterns.
